This is a 4 week programme of activity aimed at teaching you all you need to know to support your job search strategy and coach you to land the new role you’re dreaming of. 

As a Career Navigation Specialist, I talk to clients at all parts of their journey.

I recognise some of the challenges each of them face.

Which is why I’ve decided to combine everything I do into one immersion academy

So that you can get career success and overcome each hurdle as it arises with a network of peers to support you. 

What does the Career Navigation Academy offer? 

The Academy will have up to ten participants who are on this journey with you.  

You’ll feel like you’ve a team who are on a similar mission who can act as your support network.

• Attendance of 5 webinars for everyone on the Academy, topics include
  • Day 1 – Intro to the Academy, Elevator Pitches, Goal Setting & Q&A
  • Day 2 – Job Search Strategy Webinar 
  • Day 3 – CV Writing Webinar
  • Day 4 – Interview Preparation Webinar
  • Final Week  – Closing Webinar – Pledges and Graduation

One to One Career Coaching with Tony

• Career Clarity & CV Rewrite Consultation – A consultation with Tony in Weeks 1 or 2 to help identify the types of roles you have the transferable skills to apply for and a preference to go for.  Using this information, you will get a report detailing the roles tailored to you and a new two page ATS friendly CV. 
• Mock Interview – A recorded mock interview in Week 2 or 3 with Tony tailored to your target job role with feedback and a recording for you to learn from your own best practice. 
• Personal one to one subscription – In the final week, you’ll receive a one to one with Tony to check what you’ve learned during the academy and refine your approach, then you can continue to subscribe to a WhatsApp Q&A service with Tony for an additional 4 weeks. 

Group Coaching Events

2 Group Coaching Sessions in maximum cohorts of five people where you share your problem statement and your peers offer advice to support you. 

• Week 2 – Share your story and goals
• Week 3 – Share your experience applying for roles

The cohort will also be part of a WhatsApp group where we can support one another in real-time to answer questions, celebrate successes and work through problems together. 

Outputs

• Recordings of all webinars. 
• Career Clarity Report will be shared with your personalised roles, strengths, and development areas.
• A new 2 page CV written by Tony that showcases the best of your skills and experience
• Mock Interview – Feedback from the interview and a recording of the session to watch back and learn from. 
• A group of new peers from the cohort to lean on for support. 

What is the time commitment? 

The Career Navigation Academy will run for 4 weeks.

Total : 12 hours of sessions. 

Who is Tony McBride and is he any good?
